The fact or myth ? part 1

     1. Increasing the frequency of eating speeds up the metabolism.

There is no convincing evidence that would confirm that eating five or six meals rather than three or four during the day causes the acceleration of metabolism. Running with watch in hand and measuring the time to the next meal a day, neglecting other duties in order to meet such a convention is pointless, this is not so necessary to tweak the metabolism and accelerate fat burning.

2. Ginger helps the headache.

Bioactive compounds contained in the Ginger (gingerole) exhibit antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, as some research shows – help people who are dealing with migraine headaches. Ginger can be an excellent means of supporting the treatment and prevention of migraine. Spices can be added to selected meals or purchase extracts in the form of special dietary supplements.

 3. With good weight-loss supplements diet is unnecessary.

Unfortunately, no supplement is in a position to replace a good diet. Unfortunately, many people believe that the use of a variety of capsules, tablets and powders that without applying to the issue of proper nutrition can build an impressive mass or reduce fat and sculpt your figure. Unfortunately, in practice, the situation looks different, even advanced supplements treatment give only small results without a good diet. But combined with a diet, can have a beneficial effect.

 4. In winter, it is not worth to eat vegetables, because they are sterile.

While the winter period the availability of good quality vegetables is much less than in the summer time, this belief, according to which all are worthless – is not true. In winter it is worth reaching for first of all root vegetables such as celery, carrots, beetroot, potato, parsley, parsnips and cabbage type vegetables, leeks, kale, brussels sprouts, cauliflower and broccoli.

   5. Starving effectively you burning fat.

Although it might seem that dispense with the consumption of food and the introduction of fasting will cause rapid loss of fat accumulated around the waist and hips – but really, the effect can be quite different. Milk chocolate is usually mostly a source of sugar and fat, bitter but not quite that contains by far the smaller dose of sucrose, in addition provides bioactive compounds from a group of polyphenols, which have antioxidant properties and anti-inflammatory and favorably affect the functioning of the circulatory system. The larger the share of cocoa in dark chocolate-this is healthier.

 7. The abandonment of the late dinner is a good way to lose weight.

Myth! A lot of people refuse to a late dinner in the belief that in the evening the body adjusts to the deposition of delivered energy in the form of body fat in the thighs, waist, buttocks. In fact, this theory is not true, and the practice of avoiding the consumption of meals after 6 pm may not necessarily be effective and welcome a way to speed up weight loss. Much more important is how much and what you eat throughout the day, and that’s not where we start and finish eating.

8. Skimmed milk products help you lose weight.

Unfortunately, contrary to the prevailing opinions, not necessarily skim products must contribute to improve the aesthetics of your figure. Food described as “light,” “low fat”, “fit”, often contain more sugar than their conventional counterparts, they are also eaten by us, often in larger quantities, subconsciously believe that their consumption does not cause fat gain or even conducive to its reduction. As a result, building a diet low on or defatted products does not result in the reduction of excess body weight

9. The best fat burning workout is aerobic training.

Traditionally, that fat most efficiently burned during aerobic training. In practice, unfortunately, basing only on oxygen effort not necessarily be the best way to reduce fat. It turns out that the more favourable solution is putting effort on the nature of the weight lifting and interval training, which, in contrast to the aerobic workout spin up your metabolism for a long period of time.

   10. Complex sugars will not make you fat.

Be adopted, that the negative impact on the silhouette have only simple sugars, while complex carbohydrates not only do not harm but help get rid of excess body fat. Such a belief is unfortunately wrong, both simple sugars and complex can hamper fat burning and its placing, if consumed in excess. The most dangerous are refined sugars derived from highly processed foods, such as candy, soft drinks, white flour products and fast-food type dishes.
